Yes — only the detailed design drawings are paid, and we agree the one-off fee before any work begins. The AI render is free. The site visit is free. The build contract is separate and fixed-price. So the only paid step before construction is the architectural design pack: drawings, specs, lighting plan, planting schedule, final 3D render.

Approvals come first — typically 2 to 6 weeks depending on your community and emirate. On site, a pergola is roughly 2–3 weeks from deposit and most pergola-and-paving jobs run 3–7 weeks. A full transformation with pool, kitchen and planting runs 10–14 weeks in the cooler months and longer across summer, when the law shortens outdoor working hours — we programme that in rather than pretend otherwise. A pool started in October swims in January. You get weekly photo reports, one project manager, and a handover date written into the contract.

Virento manages the project end-to-end with one project manager. The build is executed by our network of specialist trade subcontractors — pool builders, planting crews, joiners, electricians, lighting specialists — vetted and used on repeat. You get one invoice and one point of contact.

We build; we don’t run maintenance contracts. What you get instead: a handover pack with as-built drawings of every buried service, registered warranties and a written maintenance schedule; a 12-month defects promise that spans a full UAE summer; and introductions to vetted servicing specialists for pool and planting care.

Ask what the substrate line says. In outdoor construction the invisible half is the expensive half — excavation, compaction, waterproofing, movement joints, sleeved services — and it is the part cheap quotes silently drop. An unstated exclusion is an inclusion: our quotes name every material by brand and model, list the exclusions on the first page, and never use ‘allowances’. We don’t discount to match a lighter scope; we itemise what’s missing from it.
